Today’s Group partners with Bolt Learning in new training initiative

The Today’s Group is leading the way in people development in the wholesale channel, by partnering with Bolt Learning, to offer an innovative online training solution for their independent wholesale members.

The impressive new online training initiative will  provide  the Group’s 143 members with access to high impact online training modules covering a range of topics, from GDPR, health and safety to management skills, with the initial training modules beginning  next month (May 2018).
Darren Goldney, MD of the Today’s Group said “We are delighted to be partnering with Bolt to step change the Today’s Group training and development programme. In a trade sector where colleagues are often stretched for time, online learning offers an ideal solution to ensure Today’s Group members can truly invest in their people and capabilities. The training and development of staff is a key element of our journey to make Today’s Group members the first-choice business partner in the wholesale channel.”

Tom Fender, Director at Bolt comments “We are delighted to have been selected as the training partner for The Today’s Group and its independent wholesale members.”

“We appreciate that wholesalers need a raft of training options to attract talented individuals, improve skills and remain compliant.  Today’s Group members will have access to a range of digital training modules, which can be undertaken at any time, on any device, anywhere.   They are also cost effective and relevant to the wholesale sector, and we believe this will be the start of a great relationship with The Today’s Group.”

An increasing number of retailers, wholesalers and FMCG suppliers are now embracing technology to effectively develop their employees, by partnering with Bolt Learning  including McColl’s, MRH, Sewell on the go, Camelot and Weetabix.
